2. Scope of Services
GameForge provides the following services:
- Mobile game development for iOS and Android platforms
- PC and console game development using Unity and Unreal Engine
- VR and AR game development and implementation
- Game concept development and design documentation
- Programming and technical implementation
- Quality assurance and testing services
- App store optimization and publishing support
- Post-launch maintenance and updates
- Gaming industry consulting and strategy
3. Project Process
3.1 Discovery and Planning
We begin with detailed project discovery, including requirements analysis, technical specifications, timeline planning, and budget estimation. All project parameters are documented in a formal agreement.
3.2 Development Phase
Development follows agile methodology with regular milestones, progress reports, and client feedback integration. We maintain transparent communication throughout the process.
3.3 Testing and Quality Assurance
Comprehensive testing is conducted across multiple devices and platforms to ensure optimal performance, stability, and user experience before delivery.
3.4 Delivery and Launch
Final deliverables include complete source code, assets, documentation, and deployment support. We assist with app store submissions and launch coordination.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing Structure
Project costs are determined based on scope, complexity, timeline, and technical requirements. All prices are quoted in USD and are valid for 30 days from the proposal date.
4.2 Payment Schedule
- 50% advance payment upon project initiation and contract signing
- 30% payment upon completion of core development milestones
- 20% final payment upon project delivery and acceptance
4.3 Additional Costs
Additional costs may include third-party licenses, assets, hosting services, and app store fees. These are clearly outlined in the project proposal and require client approval.
5. Project Timelines
Project timelines are established during the planning phase and documented in the service agreement. We commit to meeting agreed-upon deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Delays due to client-side changes or approvals may affect the final delivery date.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
6.1 Client Rights
Upon full payment, clients receive exclusive rights to the final deliverables. This includes source code, assets, and documentation created specifically for the project.
6.2 Studio Rights
GameForge retains rights to use project work in our portfolio and marketing materials. We may also reuse generic code libraries and frameworks for other projects.
6.3 Third-Party Assets
Third-party assets, libraries, and tools remain under their respective licenses. Clients are responsible for maintaining compliance with these licenses.
7. Confidentiality
We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all project information, business strategies, and proprietary materials shared during our collaboration. This commitment extends beyond project completion.
8. Warranties and Support
8.1 Warranty Period
We provide a 90-day warranty period for bug fixes and critical issues after project delivery. This covers functionality issues but not feature additions or design changes.
8.2 Technical Support
Technical support is available for 12 months after project completion. This includes troubleshooting, minor updates, and guidance on maintenance and updates.
9. Limitation of Liability
GameForge is not responsible for:
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Issues arising from client-provided content or requirements
- Third-party service disruptions or compatibility issues
- Force majeure events beyond our control
10. Project Termination
Either party may terminate the project agreement in case of:
- Material breach of contract terms
- Non-payment of services within established deadlines
- Mutual agreement between parties
- Force majeure circumstances
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms of service. Changes will be communicated through our website and take effect 30 days after publication.
